Illumination NYC’s mission is to unite people of all ages through light-based installations and technological wonders. We aim to fill a void in the community cultural calendar by welcoming local artists and curating unique visual experiences to the neighboring public. In the spirit of Nuit Blanche and other successful night festivals, it intends to be appreciated after sundown.
In the darkest of times, we must always find the light.
For year 3 of the Illumination Light Art Festival, we are prepared to ignite NYC with a bigger and brighter festival than ever before. Join us for 15+ light art installations, interactive pieces, projection mapping, light based performers, a giant stage, DJs and so much more.
Enjoy two zones of Illumination this year: The WTC Oculus & Belvedere Plaza, Battery Park City. Only a 10-minute walk from one another.

How to Cross Between

For the first time ever, the exterior of The WTC Oculus will be transformed into a light art piece through projection mapping.
Show runs every 20 minutes starting at 8pm ET.
