About the artist: Sofia Monzerratt is a Venezuelan artist and filmmaker based in NYC since 2015, her art installations sparkled after her debut in Burning Man with the immersive art installation called “Galactic Igloo”, her newest interactive art installation is "The i '' which has made appearances at a regional burn such as Love Burn, and in art events such as at the Bowery Electric, Moonoura's annual exhibition, etc. Sofia has backpacked over 30 countries and has won and been nominated for several awards and festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival in France, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, NYC Indie Film Festival, Indie Short Fest and many more. Her poetry work has been published by Eber & Wein and her photography and paintings have been featured in different magazines, photography books and has been exhibited in countries such as Italy, Germany, France, USA and Belgium.
